The six-map set guides walkers, skaters, bicyclists, wildlife watchers and other trail enthusiasts to over 288 miles of completed trail. Map sets are conveniently packaged in a waterproof clear plastic case. Each map contains extensive details, including: parks, open space, public transit, boat launches, marinas and fishing piers, and parking areas. Maps distinguish on- and off-street trail segments to help plan hikes, bike rides and family excursions.

Six maps cover the shoreline of San Francisco and San Pablo Bays, encompassing nine counties and 47 cities. The maps are organized as follows:

San Francisco Peninsula - SF to Foster City
South Bay - Redwood Shores to Newark
East Bay - Richmond to Hayward
Carquinez Strait - Vallejo to Richmond
North Bay - Petaluma to Napa
Marin County - Novato to Sausalito

Map backs feature enticing photographs and 40 recommended routes (see sample below) to inspire and guide shoreline recreation. Details for each route include directions, distance, trail surface, natural and historic points of interest, and parking and transit information.

The map set is priced at $15.00 and individual maps at $3.50, plus tax and shipping. Maps are available online, by phone order (call the Association of Bay Area Governments at 510-464-7900), and are also sold at:
